.CV Brand Protection Program is an initiative by OlaCV designed to help verified brands secure their identity on the .CV domain early and avoid impersonation, typo-squatting, and costly disputes.

Highlights

  •  All .CV domains remain publicly available at standard retail pricing.

  •  Brands can optionally file a Brand Claim for a one-time $150 fee.

  •  The Brand Claim includes ownership verification, registration of the main domain (if available), and registry-level protection of up to 20 confusingly similar variants for 12 months. Verification is done through Trademark Clearinghouse (), accredited trademark agents, or proof of brand ownership (company email, website, or existing domain).

  •  Protected variants are blocked at the registry level, preventing third-party registrations.

  • If a brand name is already taken, brands can submit a Reclamation Request via support@ola.cv. After verification, OlaCV facilitates recovery. A $400 reclamation fee applies.

  • Premium domains (usually names under seven characters) follow premium pricing for both registration and renewal, even for trademark holders.
